You have no idea how excited I am to finally share my jewelry and stones with you guys. Having my own jewelry store has been my dream since I stepped foot in the gemmology field. The luckiest thing that ever happened to me was being able to learn about gemmology and consistently being amazed by the diversity of the gemstones that this world has to offer. Took me a while to understand their formations and origins but now I'm looking at these beautiful gifts from Earth from a whole new perspective.

Ever since I started studying gemmology after graduating from a science major, I dreamed of having my own jewelry store. The one thing that I wanted to achieve was to empower people with my jewelry. We are here to experience this journey called life. Happy, sad or devastated, I wish to taste every moment of this. I hope you do too. This is why I took this name, LÁGRIMAS, which is a Spanish word that means "tear". Pearl was the first type of gemstone that I learned about. I was just so fascinated by the elegance and beauty of pearls so I read the book Pearls by Elisabeth Strack, what an amazing author, what a wonderful book. One of the sayings was that pearls are the teardrops of mermaids. We all cry (or used to cry) when we feel overwhelmed by any specific feelings. I searched every word about tears and came up with this word, LÁGRIMAS. It clicked. So it goes.....
